What to expect
Glowing Injection involves using many small injections around the areas to be treated and more than one treatment is required to achieve the desired result.
Glowing Injection is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Otherwise, it is a safe treatment and its effects are not permanent. and it takes 4-5 days to heal but you may experience the following during or after the procedure:
- You may feel minimal pain during the treatment due to the actual injection.
- Some of the medications used during the procedure may cause a burning section over the affected area as the medication starts to work such as bruising, redness, swelling, inflammation, infection, swelling and Redness, which may require one week to heal.
- During the healing process, there is a possibility that the treated area can become red and itchy.
- Scarring is a rare occurrence, but it is a possibility when the skin surface is disrupted. To minimize scarring, it is important to have an assessment before treatment.
- Although extremely rare, transient or permanent skin pigmentation changes can sometimes occur at injection sites.
Post-Treatment Instructions
- Do not wash or take a shower for at least 8 hours after treatment. Do not take a full bath for 48 hours after treatment.
- After 48 hours, and for the first week, baths can reduce any bruising that may have occurred but should be limited to 15.
- Avoid exercising for 48 hours after treatment.
- Drink at least 2 liters of water the day of your treatment and continue this intake of water for up to one week.
- Sun exposure must be avoided for 48 hours after the treatment and until the bruising subsides.
- Bruises or swelling are expected and will subside after a few days (3-4 days).
- An allergic reaction can occur in the form of small lumps. Should you notice redness and or small lumps at the injection site, call us right away.
- Glowing Injection treatment is most successful when combined with diet and exercise.
